Amusing Nail Polish Names

Morning all you nail polish lovers!

I admit it, I am a polish name investigator! Please tell me that I am not the only one who spends maybe a little bit too much time lifting up bottles of nail polish at the salon to take a peak at their cute/witty/funny names. And I also admit, I have placed a bottle of nail polish back on the self after reading the name and not liking what it said ( even if I was initially drawn to the color!)

Companies have moved on with giving them a dull color themed name ( hot pink, bright blue, ect..) Sometimes I think that the tagline is perfect for the color that it is attached to, and other times I find myself standing there holding a bottle, with a eyebrow lifted-confused look on my face, trying to figure out how on earth that particular name was given to that specific color.

I do love the fact though that somewhere, right now, there is a panel of people staring at color swatches trying to create these amusing names to stick on the bottom of a bottle....sign me up for that job please!

I know there are so many more out there to discover, new ones are being created everyday, so take the time to lift up the bottle and know the name that's being painted on your nails :)

OH and...I am also completely guilty of giggling when I read a certain one and think to myself "That is sooooo (fill in a name)'s perfect polish!!"....now I KNOW i'm not the only one! :)
